Atlanta-based Wood Partners is set to begin construction by quarter’s end on Alta Farms at Cane Ridge in Antioch. According to a release, the 10-building, 330-unit multifamily project will include 10 carriage homes and sit on 39 acres at 3144Old Franklin Road, with Wood Partners serving as the general contractor. Wood Partners is not disclosing what it paid for the property and the Davidson County Register of Deeds had not recorded transaction details as of publication time. An LLC affiliated with Nashville-based Elmington Capital Group was the seller, with that entity having paid about $2.54 million for the property last September, according to Metro records. The development just south of the Hickory Hollow Parkway exit from Interstate 24 will offer walking trails, a fitness center, co-working spaces, a “resort-style” saltwater swimming pool, guest parking, a community garden, “dog-friendly” units and a dog park.
